Photo Archive

I was going through my email at work today, when I stumbled across one of my folders labeled "Photos". This is the folder that I save all the pictures from friends, customers, and clients once they are sent. I decided that it would be a great idea to share a few of them with all my fans.

Linda Parenti, a shop regular and friend with a beautiful Missouri Rainbow

Bob Bachman with an awesome Tsimane
Grant Mahon with an amazing Schuylkill River Bass this past March
Grants beautiful Penns Creek Brown trout
John Drumheller with a Labrador Char
And again
Thank you, Linda, Grant, John and Bob for the photos.

Schuylkill River Guiding

Well I'm back from MT, that means only one thing, Schuylkill River time. I've been on the river a good bit since I've been back. The water was a bit off color the first couple days, but with no rain, the water is super clear and super low. But who care about that when the fishing is so good. The water temps are falling into the mid 60s now, fish have started to get "attitudes" when you hook them. Drifting crayfish and hellgrammites under and indicator has been working well for us. Steamers striped slow and steady have also been working well.

Here are some pictures from my last 3 guide trips:

Look the Schuk does have crayfish!

Thank You to All!

On behalf of all TCO Employees, I wanted to send out a Thank You to everyone that came out to the Movie night fundraiser for the Tully Fingerling project. The event was a great success, we raised enough money to put around 1,500 fingerlings in the Tully this fall. And a huge Thank You to Simms and Stoudts Brewing Company for sponsoring the event!

Congrats to everyone that won something at the raffle, we look forward to doing this again in the spring. Again thank you all for your support.

Tricos, I am not fishing Tricos! Ok Maybe

That is what I said when we got the report from Headhunters fly shop in Craig MT. But hey who can argue with 20+ inch rainbows rising to tricos, yup that wouldn't be me, the trico went on.

The last 3 days Jared and I fished 3 more rivers, Gallatin, Missouri, and Copper Creek. This trip was the first time I was able to spend a significant time on the Gallatin, and it was work every chilling, wet wading second. I think the coolest thing was Jared yelling "Dude this is a GOOD fish", as I turned around my eyes connected with a beautiful airborne brown trout. Hoppers, streamers, nymphs, it made no difference, the trout wanted to eat. After that it was off to Craig where we rented a drift boat for the ext 2 days on the Mo, Tricos, caddis, Ants, Hoppers, and Zebra Midges. I love that river, its huge, full of beautiful fish, and wide open every direction you look. After Day one on the Mo, I was outside the motel drinking a beer, one of the shop guys sparked a conversation on his way back to get a beer for himself. Interested in fishing for cutthroat? UMMM Hell yeah I am, after a few beers with the shop guys behind the shop "secret spot" Jared and I were off for a day of small stream Westslope Cutthroat, that will eat the biggest ugliest hoppers and foam flies you can throw. Ill take that.

Enjoy the rest of the pictures.
