Big Spring - The 1st Trip

Monday it was decided that I would drive down to Big Spring, just south of Harrisburg, in Newville PA, meet up with Joey, and do some fishing. It was a great day, at the end we both decided it was the best day we had ever had thus far. The fish were there, and ready to eat just about anything we would send there way, scuds, peaking caddis, sculpin, PTs, Midges, GD's Cat Nip, and the list goes on. Joey and I each hooked one of the "monsters" huge fish that never eat, but we couldn't get them to hand. We had great success however with the larger fish 12-16 inches. It was awesome, a great way to start the new year!!!!

Beautiful Big Spring Rainbow Trout

Look for the small indicator on the right... then you can see the white mouth of Joey's monster

He just looks mad
