Crazy Summer Days
It has been a wild ride this year. We opened a new shop, drove out west to pick up a boat, bought a house, and we are now in full swing with guiding. All of our smallmouth systems has been fishing amazing. Topwater has been great all day, and sight fishing with crayfish and smaller baitfish flies is also very productive.

River Photos - Juniata River
A couple days before the rain fishing became very tough. Topped by the holiday weekend boat traffic and low water we found fish to be very spooky. Both days on the river were tough, but everyone kept their heads in the game and made it work. We needed this rain as a restart button. Photos below are from my guide trip Sunday, and a personal day Monday. I took Jack fishing, we popped both days.
Central Pennsylvania is a special place, and I love sharing it with people. Thank You Andy Wagner for sharing all your knowledge with me. Thank You Bryan Doyle for coming along and taking some amazing photos.

River Photos - Juniata River
Brought Mike Orr to the J today for his first big water bass trip. It was 101 degrees by noon. There were no clouds in the sky, and the water was low. We saw lots of fish but they all spooked when the boat got close. We messes around with the middle aged bass most of the day, until the near end. We decided to throw poppers in the shade, when Mike hooks into a monster 19" smallies. We fished for a bit more, but he was content, so we rowed out before it got even hotter. Nice Work man!
