Post Snowstorm Fishing
My life has been in shambles with the new store opening soon. However there is always time to fish, but with snowmelt chilling off the water it can be a bit tough. From spring creeks to limestone streams they all can be effected by the rapid cooling water, if you stick with it you will be rewarded. Fished with my buddy Andy the other day and it was a rough day, he managed to put a couple in the net, and I lost the only fish I hooked. Stoneflies, cress bugs, midge pupa, caddis larva have all worked for me over the past week on the water.

Meet the New Guy - Shane Adams
TCO Reading has a new addition to the full time staff: Shane Adams,
a Pennsylvania native who grew up in Denver, PA. Shane graduated
from Millersville University in 2013 with a bachelors degree in Environmental
Sciences. After graduation, he lived in a cabin in Tioga County preforming
watershed surveys - and when not working - he spent his time fly fishing and fly
tying. Shane has spent most of his life fishing small streams in central PA for
wild browns and brook trout. He also enjoys mapping, stream conservation, and
trying to find time to go backpacking to get lost in the wilderness. Stop in
the shop and say hi, ask him about his music interests or the afterhours work he
does for Lancaster County Conservancy. We are pumped to add Shane to the team!

Photos from the West Branch
Despite crazy winds and high sun, we made it happen again. Bob and Rob made their second trip to the West Branch with me this year. After having to cancel three times last year because of high water, we had perfect water levels and rising water temps. Warming water had fish and bugs moving around, Blue Quill and Hendricksons were everywhere, and when the wind died down, the fish were up and munching.
Nice work Guys!
